Information
The Royal Observatory boasts one of the most impressive views of the London City skyline creating an enviable wedding backdrop. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren and commissioned by King Charles II in 1675. The home of Royal Astronomy has fast become one of London’s most popular wedding venues.
The Octagon Room is the only room that still has the original Wren interior. Specifically designed for observing the stars with soaring windows and 360-degree views of Greenwich Park. An evening wedding seated under the stars with up to 54 guests makes for a truly special, intimate wedding. The venue can host 120 guests standing.
The Meridian Courtyard is perfect for an alfresco drinks reception. Panoramic views over London aren’t the only highlight of this space. The Meridian is actually sat where the eastern and western hemispheres meet.
